A desktop overlay that streams real-time, AI-summarized market news straight onto your screen. It floats on top of whatever you're already doing — your chart, your broker, your browser — so you never have to alt-tab into a separate terminal to see what's moving.

Almost certainly not. Overnewz is deliberately quiet: it only interrupts you for news that actually moves markets, so a gap means nothing has cleared that bar. Outside the busy hours — overnight, or across a weekend — that gap can be a long one, and it is the app working as intended rather than a fault.

The light tells you which it is. There's a small dot in the panel header, and on the bar in compact mode: green means you're connected and it's simply quiet, amber means it's reconnecting, and red means your trial has ended. Check that first — if it's green, nothing is wrong. If it stays amber for more than a few minutes, contact us and we'll look at your connection from our side.
